Quarantine

Amply is the only email service that enables you to prevent legitimate users from being added to your global unsubscribe group by throttling emails to recently bounced users. Although hard bounces generally indicate permanent delivery errors, there are cases when it makes sense to throttle email within the time period you define rather than block all delivery. The most common cases are delays in email account provisioning which result in "user not found" errors or DNS misconfigurations.

If an email is successfully delivered within the period, the user will be removed from your quarantine and stay out of your unsubscribe group. Otherwise, if no email was sent successfully in the defined time period, the user will be removed from your quarantine and added to your unsubscribe group.

By default, this setting is disabled. Depending on your use case, it's possible that your bounce rate will rise which may affect deliverability. Our support team can help you determine if this is the best option for your organization.
